Sick Of Being Fat? 5 Weight Loss Tips To Get You The Sexy Body Your Deserve!

By Amanda Stulsky

Sick of being overweight? Let's face it: Losing weight is just not an easy task! You have to really put your mind to it. You have to force yourself to stick to whatever it is that you're doing every single day. You need to, oops, I'm getting way too far ahead of myself here. Let me break this down for you in simple, step-by-step, what I call, "weight loss tips."

Find a plan and most importantly, STICK TO IT! I know this is easier said than done, but I told you in the beginning that losing weight is not as easy as it seems. It can be easy if you want it to be. If you really desire to lose weight, then you will put yourself in the right frame of mind to do so. You have to stop focusing on how hard it's going to be and look at your ultimate goal, which is to shed some unwanted weight. Keep your goal in mind until the very end. So, whether you have a weight loss book you're reading, a weight loss DVD you bought or just found a free weight loss program online, just please promise me that you'll stick with it until you reach your goal. Don't give up is another good title for this weight loss tip.

Don't try to do it alone, if you've been know to quit. If you've had a hard time in the past sticking to a weight loss plan or diet, stop trying to do it all by your lonesome! I can't stress this enough. Find a friend, a family member or join a group online. There are literally hundreds of places online that offer free weight loss support, just take a look. Get the whole family involved. Let them know that you're committed to losing weight and no one can stop you. If you can find a workout buddy, that's great. Having a friend to support you, as well as being supportive of a friend in return, brings something so unique to the table--accountability! You each will have the responsibility of holding each other accountable for whatever routine that you decided upon. So, if you're scheduled to walk for 30 minutes on Saturday and you're friend calls you up to say, "Hey, I don't really feel like walking today." You can be the one to say, "Hey, no way! We're doing this, so get your walking shoes on and let's go. We made a commitment and we're going to stick to it!"

Keep a weight loss journal to record all of your thoughts, feelings, food and beverage intake, etc. This is another vital key to your weight loss success! This goes along with what I was just saying in weight loss tip number 2--being held accountable. When you are forced to write everything that you eat and everything that you do concerning your weight loss efforts, you are being held accountable for it all. This is so great because you will actually have a tangible record to look at and actually see, with your own two eyes, exactly what is going on. You will be able to pinpoint with accuracy maybe why you're not dropping that last pound or why the scale has not budged in three weeks. So, go splurge on yourself and pick up a little journal at Walmart or Target. You'll be so happy you did!

Drink water. Most Americans do not intake the necessary water to maintain proper body functions. Why do you think America is one of the sickest countries in the world? Water is vital with a capital V! It is recommended that you drink half of your body weight in ounces of water per day. This means that if you are a 150 pound adult woman, you should be drinking at least 75 ounces of water every single day! Break that down into your average 16 ounce bottles, and you've got about 5 bottles per day. This can be easily done by just eliminating all the unnecessary fluids that you're putting into your body, such as coffee, alcoholic beverages, and those caffeinated soft drinks. Water is something that many of us simply take for granted. I know I don't, but I also understand that if you were not raised knowing the importance of water and how it directly affects your overall health, than it may be hard for you to even consider drinking half your body weight in ounces per day. My advice to you would be to start out slow and small. There is no race. Try just one bottle to start and gradually work your way up to the recommended amount. Your body will thank you and trust me, you will feel the difference!

Final weight loss tip: Love yourself, plain and simple! I know you may be thinking, "Okay, sure, whatever." But please don't overestimate the power of this one simple weight loss tip. It is essential to you living a happy and healthy life. This is not just a weight loss tip, but in fact, a life tip. There's only one you and if you don't love yourself, chances are you may find it hard to love other people, as well. Also, if you don't love yourself, you're very blessed if you have people in you're life that love you and I'm talking about people other than your parents (they have to love you!) Seriously though, loving yourself is one of the first steps you should take in achieving real weight loss. If you love yourself first, all else will follow and fall into place. If you love yourself, you will want to lose weight and be healthy.

Weight loss is not always easy, as I stated above, however, it can be as easy or as hard as you make it. I'm going to give you another weight loss tip as a kind of freebie here before I go. Find a means of motivation for yourself. This actually ties into the loving yourself weight loss tip that I just talked about. If you're goal is to get into that size 8 pair of jeans you've been hiding in your closet, then whip those jeans out and hand them on your wall if you have to. Look at them everyday and they will be a constant reminder of why you are doing what your doing. I know for myself, I wanted to look good in a bikini for the summer, so I found a picture of a bikini model and taped it to my mirror. Every time I looked into the mirror, this picture was staring back at me and I was reminded of how I was going to look: Fabulous! Be the fabulous person that you are! Lose all the weight you want and start implementing these weight loss tips right now!

Free Weight Loss Tips: 4 Positive Ways To Achieve Your Weight Loss Goals

By Star Smith

In order to lose weight successfully, you first have to realize
that losing weight is a journey with a specific destination.
Right now, you’re at the very beginning and about to take the
first step towards changing your eating and lifestyle habits, so
that you can have the body you really want.

Of course, this isn’t going to be easy – nothing worthwhile
ever is. You should pat yourself on the back for making a
commitment to yourself that you’re finally ready to do this. So
many people can’t even make it this far. So, in a sense, you’re
already ahead of the game.

Your goal should be to lose one or two pounds a week, if you
lose more than that, great, but don’t push for it. You want to
stay mentally focused, healthy and determined. If you push too
hard, or try to force your body to lose big numbers, then you’ll
eventually stress yourself out and hit a wall that may lead to
failure.

Here’s some suggestions that you can use to create a successful
weight loss plan:

Your first step should be to decide how much weight you want to
lose. Get some 3x5 index cards and write one goal or positive
statement down on each one. Start by writing down your ideal
weight, this is your ultimate big goal.

Next, you want to set smaller goals for yourself. Write down a
goal for losing five pounds, then ten pounds, twenty pounds,
etc.

Write down some positive motivational statements about
yourself.

“I love myself unconditionally”

“I’m a great person inside and outside”

“I’m going to smile and laugh today”

“I deserve this and I’m worth it”

Keep these cards where you’ll be able to look at them every
day.

Growing up you were probably taught to eat three meals a day.
You were also probably taught to clean your plate. While this
schedule of eating meals is well-intentioned, the fact is that
you are going to get hungry between breakfast and lunch, and
between lunch and dinner.

Not only are you probably having a large portion for each meal,
but you are also snacking on junk food in between.
Unfortunately, this way of eating leads to a lot of weight gain.
It’s been proven that if you eat several small meals during the
day, you won’t get hungry between meals and when you do, it’s
easier to snack on something that has less calories.

Plan to eat five small meals a day, instead of three, and see
if that helps to curb your food cravings.

Keep a Food Journal

Just like a diary is a snippet of events that happen in your
life, a food journal helps you to keep track of what you’re
really putting into your mouth on a daily basis. You probably
have a mental picture of what you normally eat, but when you see
it in writing, you may be surprised at all the extra foods
you’re eating without even thinking about it.

Write down what you ate, what time you ate it, and how you felt
when you ate that particular food. Sometimes when we eat certain
“comfort foods” we’re really trying to use food to fill up an
emotional hole in our hearts.

Feelings of loneliness, boredom, stress, anger and low-self
esteem are often triggers for food binging. Write it down and
you can go back and evaluate it later.

When you reach one of your weight loss goals, go ahead and
treat yourself to something special. The only catch is that your
reward cannot be a food item. That’s right, you will not have a
bowl of ice cream or a big slice of pizza.

You want to mentally get away from thinking of food as a reward
or a security blanket. So, think of some other things that will
put a smile on your face. Money is always a good reward. Maybe
you can create a reward jar and pay yourself five dollars for
every milestone achieved. You could go on a nice shopping spree
after you’ve reached your final goal weight.

You could also buy yourself some fresh flowers, a nice pair of
earrings, a new video game, a new tie, etc.

Another great idea is to make up your own reward coupon books.

I hope these tips are helpful and that you are successful in
creating a healthier and happier new you.

Fast Weight Loss - What Makes a Fast Weight Loss Plan Effective?

By Zack William

While slow, steady weight loss can be achieved by making small changes to your diet and gradually increasing your activity level, let's face it; slow weight loss sucks! everybody want fast weight loss! Well, I happen to think that a fast weight loss approach is better. The fact is; you will get better results by attacking your weight loss goals for a planned period of time at the exclusion of other things, focussing on it with laser intensity and actually achieving it, at which point you can ease off and simply maintain your weight. Here's why:

It is a fact of human nature that a task will expand to fit the time frame you place on it. In other words if you decide to lose weight slowly over a period of 6 months, the lack of urgency created by such a long term goal will actually slow your progress. Now, if you decide to lose, say, 20lbs in a month, how much more focussed on achieving your weight loss goals do you think you will be? I'll say it again - short term goals for fast weight loss will produce better results than long term goals.

So what are the differences between a slow weight loss plan and a fast weight loss plan? Here's a quick list.

Fast weight loss secret 1 - First of all decide on the goal. "Lose weight" is not a goal, it's a good idea. A goal sounds like this; "by the 1st of november this year I will weigh 170lbs". Specific and time-bound. Write it down (write, not type) and stick it up somewhere you will see it every day. Write it on a card and keep it in your wallet, stick it on your fridge. You need to keep this goal at the front of your mind for the duration of your fat loss plan. This is one of the most crucial elements that separates fat loss success from fat loss failure. Keeping focussed on your goal will prevent you from slipping up with your diet.
Fast weight loss secret 2 - Decide on your objectives and make them as clear and simple as possible with no room for interpretation. The goal is what you want to achieve, the objectives are how you plan to achieve it. These need to be simple and clear because if you are vague in defining your objectives you will drift away from them as the weeks go by.

Bad objectives sound like - I will reduce my carbohydrate intake.
Good objectives sound like - For the next for weeks I will eat no starchy carbohydrates between Monday and Saturday. All of my meals will contain a protein source and green vegetables.
See how much more specific a properly formulated objective is?
Fast weight loss secret 3 - Fail to plan - plan to fail! If a client tells me their objective is to eat an apple a day for the next week, my next question to them is "do you have seven apples in your kitchen right now?" Once you have your goals and your objectives, you must prepare! If you have crap food in your kitchen, throw it out! Buy only food which is in line with your objectives. Simple? yes, but it's amazing how few people actually take action and do it.

Weight Loss - 3 Ways to Lose Belly Fat Fast

By KJ McCarron

Everyone appears to be obsessed with weight loss these days. There are those who have obviously thrown in the towel and don't give it a second thought, but for most of us it is top of mind a lot of the time. And the area that most people seem most concerned about is that spare tire around their mid section. Belly fat is uncomfortable, it's unattractive, and it's downright dangerous.

There are a whole host of problems that can stem from carrying around too much belly fat for too long. With that thought in mind, here are 3 ways to lose belly fat fast:

1) Work It Off - This is about as basic as it gets. When you think about our ancestors and the lifestyles they led, they rarely sat around like we do today. Their very survival depended on being active for most of the day, everyday. With modern conveniences and sedentary jobs, we probably don't move our bodies even a tenth of what we used to. If you schedule time in each day to move your body, and I mean move it in any way, you will lose belly fat. Your body is designed to move. If your everyday lifestyle doesn't make it move, you're going to have to pick up the slack.

2) Cut Your Intake- Just like moving your body will reduce belly fat, so will cutting your food intake. They actually kind of go hand in hand. If your lifestyle doesn't make you move, you simply don't need the same amount of calories as someone who does. If you don't want to move yourself, stop eating so much.

3) Confuse Your Metabolism - This is a relatively new concept whereby you trick your metabolism into working in overdrive. You don't have to move more and you don't have to eat less. All you have to do is follow an easy eating system and watch the pounds melt away.

You'll discover a proven system that guarantees you'll lose 9 pounds every 11 days when you click here now

Fast Weight Loss -- The Healthiest Fast Weight Loss Plan

By Michael Smith, MD

In general, fast weight loss is not healthy. The faster you lose weight, the faster you'll gain it back. Here are the top 5 reasons fast weight loss plans are not healthy...

Diet fast and lose muscle not fat.

Diet fast and lose water not fat.

Diet fast and cause diet shock. What is diet shock?

Diet fast and make no lifestyle changes.

Diet fast and fail at long term weight loss.

Fast weight loss impacts your dieting efforts in so many negative ways, it's hard to imagine how any fast dieting attempts could produce healthy results.

The only thing I can think of is to use a lower goal for your weight loss. At a 5% weight reduction, your health improves, diet shock is minimized, and it's fast.

So, if planned properly, you can lose weight fast, in shorter time periods focusing on 5% reductions in total body weight.

At first, you will lose mostly muscle and water. But as you progress through each period, more and more fat will burn and less muscle. The way I see it, no matter how many fast weight loss warnings we write about, many of you will try the next one that hits the market. Instead of fighting, I want to work with you and provide you the healthiest yet fastest way to lose weight.

The Healthiest Fast Weight Loss Plan

Slow and consistent, a healthy weight loss plan delivers small successes everyday, building momentum along the way, peaking at the point in time when you reach you're goal. This is key to dieting success.

Most dieters do the opposite...they experience fast weight loss early, their momentum peaks mid-way, and by the end of the diet, they are completely deflated. With no energy left to carry them into the next stage of weight loss -- weight gain prevention -- most dieters give up at this point.

My fast weight loss plan avoids the deflation and lack of motivation at the end of the diet because it evenly spreads the weight loss over 6 weeks. When do most dieters lose the most weight? Weeks 1-3. On my plan? Weeks 2-5.

No, these results are not from a good rigorous clinical study. Instead, they are my own observation of several patients I follow in Dallas.

Healthy Fast Weight Loss Steps

Week One, Part One -- drink a protein shake supplement everyday. Do not change anything else. Drink a protein shake that's a 50:50 mix of whey to casein proteins. The best time to drink the shake depends on your physical activities.

Since most bodybuilders know what to do, I suggest for the rest of us, a protein shake between breakfast and lunch or between lunch and dinner. The time you choose depends on when you have the longest period of fasting. For me, it's between lunch and dinner, so my shake comes around 3pm.

Week One, Part Two -- Start an exercise program, with the first week involving nothing but stretching major muscle groups. Stretching increases the tonal stimulation to muscles (tone) causing them to burn more calories at rest. Plus it protects against injuries. The second week start some form of low impact aerobics...walking! Walk for 40 minutes everyday.

Week Two -- Start dieting by replacing 1/2 of a meal with the same protein shake from last week. Do this for 1 week.

Week Three -- Replace one whole meal with a protein shake. Change the mixture of the shake to 60% whey and 40% casein proteins. For most people, this comes out to about a 500 calorie reduction.

Week Four -- Reduce caloric intake by another 250 calories. I suggest adding a second protein shake, made up of the same 60:40 mix and use it to replace 1/2 of a another meal.

Record the amount of weight you're losing. Never let it reach a rate of more than 4 pounds per week (that's double what I normally recommend).

Week Five -- Repeat week four.

Week Six -- Add back the last 250 calories you dropped and stop drinking the second shake.

End Result -- 12 to 18 pounds of average weight loss. The exact amount depends on many factors including exercise.

Fast Weight Loss Summary

Don't do it. Fast weight loss inevitably will lead to future weight gain. Just don't do it. But, if you do, at least follow my steps, the healthiest steps to fast weight loss.

If you decide to loose weight you must be aware that it will not be easy. You will have to put a lot of time and effort in. it is hard, bit it is not impossible. You can do it!

In stead of snacks eat fruit or vegetable. You also have to drink a lot of water. At the beginning it is hard not eat any time you want, but you have be strong. Drink a lot of water and you will not feel hungry so many times. Water will make you feel full and you will not be hungry anymore. Do not eat after 6 or 7 pm.
